Trailing
Bean-Vine Phaseolus sinuatus Nuttall
This
perennial legume has trailing stems up to 4 m long and leathery
three-lobed leaves. It is rare and limited to dry longleaf pine
sandhill habitat of the southeastern coastal plain.
One
population was found on the Trail Ridge between Jesup and the Altamaha
River. It is threatened by residential development.
