Trailing Bean-Vine Phaseolus sinuatus Nuttall

This perennial legume has trailing stems up to 4 m long and leathery three-lobed leaves. It is rare and limited to dry longleaf pine sandhill habitat of the southeastern coastal plain.

One population was found on the Trail Ridge between Jesup and the Altamaha River. It is threatened by residential development.
