Mammalia Sherman's Fox Squirrel Sciurus niger shermani The variable Sherman's race of this large, widespread squirrel is native to Florida and southern Georgia. It is uncommon in pine or pine-oak woodlands in the Altamaha River basin. Six records are from four quads in three counties. |
