Ocmulgee Shiner Notropis callisema

This small, nondescript minnow is endemic to the Altamaha and Ogeechee river basins of Georgia. It occurs near sand bars throughout the freshwater portions of the Altamaha and lower Ohoopee rivers in the study area. Ten records are from eight quads and five counties.
